Charles Martinet talks about getting the job of being the voice of Mario, and what it was like crashing the audition, then starting the job... A little about the technology of MIRT and how it has evolved from needing face masks and roller balls with coffee table sized super computers with dry ice to keep them cool, to working now with two Mac Book Air's and over the internet...and then what it's like being an actor.... how voiceovers work...what it's like when he records a Mario game...what the creative process is like and what it's like to work in the studio... Then Charles talks about the joy of 20 years of doing the voice and the gift of working with Nintendo and being given each new character to do.
